The Story
Thrive started as an after-school multi-sport and sports performance class taught by Coach Pete. Coach Pete started the class with a desire to see his students reach their potential. He wanted to see his students thrive and position them to be successful in the sport they pursued. He believes with hard work, dedication, and the right knowledge every child can thrive. His ultimate goal is to prepare his students to succeed in the sphere of life they pursue. He believes sports are an invaluable teaching tool to disciple followers of Jesus Christ as well as develop character and leadership skills. As a follower of Jesus Christ with over decades of experience coaching youth sports and instructing after-school enrichments, Coach Pete wanted to share his love, passion, knowledge, and ministry with the community. Today, Thrives offers various camps and after-school programs (Multi-sport, Motor and Muscle Development, Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, Boxing, Dance, Physical Education, and Tennis) with partnering organizations in Northern Virginia. Thrive exists to provide partnering organizations with highly functioning and effective sports and enrichment ministries that will serve the local community. Partner with us!
Mission
Thrive exists to serve the local community by providing high-level sports and enrichment ministries for our partnering organizations. We are dedicated to discovering every child's God-given talent, gifts, and abilities, developing every child's God-given talent, gifts, and abilities, and disciple every child into a follower of Jesus Christ so that they can use their God-given talent, gifts, and abilities to lead change and advance God's kingdom.
Vision
We hope to see sports and enrichment ministries serve the local community in a life changing way through our partnering organizations. We long to see every child reach their God-given potential physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We want to see them grow into champion people who will serve Jesus with their God-given talent, gifts, and ability and grow to become leaders who will change the world and advance God's kingdom.
